World of Warcraft is amazing! Simply because you do not like the game does not mean others do not enjoy it. people would love to play the game for 12 months straight if the game is fun, no need to gift 2-3 mounts so people feel the need to sub. You could also say the same about the 12 month sub. Maybe you should push wow content creators and viewership by making a good game instead of only by gifting stuff to people so they watch for 3 days and then quit watching entirely again. Lol get over it? It's an easy way for blizzard to promote content creaters and push wow viewership higher leading up to the launch. Would be better if I could get the drops by playing the game rather than the pointless idea of watching someone else play! Lol i like how all the screenshto examples are of lost ark, zeals is the man Comment by timo619 on T07:51:22-06:00īut how do i get drops as a streamer? can i just stream wow or do i have to watch another streamer? Comment by Nulgar on T07:55:37-06:00 If you already gave these pieces of information to either party, it honestly doesn't matter much that the other gets them, too. Maybe which games you play, so that Twitch can suggest streams in these categories.īut that's about the worst of it. Maybe other specific metrics like amount of hours watched in the WoW category.įrom Blizz's side, similar. I guess from Twitch, stuff like username, email address and possibly real name (not sure if Twitch itself asks for that, but you might have an Amazon account linked) but Blizz already has your name (if you want a chance of ever getting your account back after it gets hacked) That would decide for me if it's ok to link the accounts, barring any future changes to that system. What I would be interested in is what data will be exchanged between the linked accounts apart from the necessary data required to get "drops". The stream must not be paused to earn progress. You must watch streamers that are currently streaming under the World of Warcraft directory and have Drops enabled to qualify. You may only earn progress for a Drop on one channel at a time. You must have a Twitch account in order to get Drops. You can always check if the channel has Drops active by looking at the widget on top of the chat window or before joining a stream. In order to get the in-game rewards from Twitch Drops, you must watch a stream that has Drops active and is streaming the game in question. Twitch Drops are a feature from the streaming website Twitch that offers in-game rewards in specific games for people that watch a set number of hours. Learn More About Twitch Drops in our In-Depth Guide If you've never acquired Twitch Drops before, we're explaining what Twitch Drops are.
